Author puts you in his shoes
I don't like coding in swift as so many functions I've used in the past are built in objective-c. I took a dive thou into this book in seeing if swift would be ideal for me to code in. What I found was an amazing overview of the swift's beginning to multiple examples that can be used for practical use. The author puts you in his shoes and guides you which is the the first time I felt like I was in someone's shoes while reading a programming book. Also, a cool thing I noticed is, I ordered the physical copy, then amazon gave me the kindle for free. Which is cool. I recommend this book for anyone diving into swift for the first time or learning it from an objective-c background.
Better than most
Finally an iOS book that is actually understandable. Nice work!
Five Stars
One of the best iOS books out there.
Excellent book for beginners and intermediates wishing to learn IOS
Excellent book for beginners and intermediates. In so far I am at about 1/2 of the book and I am truly satisfied with this purchase. The author writes clear and concise with excellent explanations and all the codes work well. What I mostly enjoy are the practical life applications provided in the book. All resources are readily available at their website in the event that you need to download images, codes, and references.
A great resource for your iOS library
I have multiple iOS books to learn development, but this book does a great job of taking the reader from the basics of Swift to some advance topics. There are tons of code examples along with the topics covered. It has a textbook feel to it (which I love), but it's not all dry and boring. Overall, I think this is a great resource to have in your iOS library!
Clear and Easy way to learn Swift!
Very clear and easy to understand and replicate all the examples provided for each concept, it has reduced considerably my time to understand swift.
Best iOS 10 Swift 3 book!
It covers everything in a very simple and easy way. If you are a busy developer looking for how to use iOS 10 controls and swift 3 frameworks, look no further. You've found it. Still I think under $8 price tag for mobile version is an error. This book should have been priced $100 at least.
